St John's has very active Guide and Scout organisations, ranging from Rainbows and Beavers for primary school children to Scouts and Rangers for teenagers.

The groups meet at the Church Hall, in West Street (for Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Rangers) and the Scout Hut, behind the Church Hall (for Beavers, Cubs and Scouts).  The number of young people in the groups is testimony to how much our young people enjoy their evening meetings and the many and various trips and camps they go on.  Check out our contacts page to find details of our group leaders, if you would like more details.  They are always happy to talk to prospective new members.
