Créche
St John's has a créche for babies and toddlers.
This is equipped with baby changing facilities and a toilet. Parents have
to stay with their children in the créche. There are speakers in the
créche to allow parents to follow the service.
Young
Church
Young Church isn't just a place to learn, it's a
place to make friends in an environment where people care about each other
and it's a place to have fun.
Young Church is divided into two groups:
Sunday Club is for primary aged children
Revelation Group is for secondary aged children
Young Church meets on every Sunday, except
the second Sunday of the month, which is Church parade.
Guides and Scouts
St John's has very active Guide and Scout
organisations, ranging from Rainbows and Beavers for primary school children to Scouts and Rangers for teenagers.
The groups meet at the Church Hall, in West
Street (for Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Rangers) and the Scout Hut, behind the Church Hall (for Beavers, Cubs and
Scouts). The number of young people in the groups is testimony to how
much our young people enjoy their evening meetings and the many and various trips and
camps they go on.
They are always happy to talk to prospective
new members
