There are crèche facilities in the Choir Vestry available for parents with young children to use during services.

Young Church (age 5 – 11)

During Church services, children between the ages of five and sixteen leave the main congregation to attend “Young Church”. These lessons are taken by a team of leaders. The young people are encouraged to read the Bible, to discuss the meaning of what they are reading and apply what they have learnt to situations they meet in real life. Due to the distance between the Church and the Hall, lessons have to take place in Church and this puts limitations on the kind of activities that the children can take part in. However, they enjoy their lessons and there are good friendships among them.

Revelation Group (age 12 – 16)

This group is for young adults in secondary school. Revelations take a more proactive part in Church life by planning and leading some of the Church Parade services, help out serving tea and coffee, and in helping set out the Wheatley Chapel for toddler group sessions. During the school summer holidays a Sunday club is run for children attending Church.
